MENTORSHIP

On a mission for the greater good!
PURPOSE

At PMElite, we believe in mentorship as a great way to promote knowledge sharing in our community. Mentorship allows us to:

 

  • Create a professional environment, composed of the topmost experienced PM (where "PM" stands for Project Management, Product Management, Program Management, Portfolio Management) professionals. In this environment, we are aiming to provide direction in the many challenges PMs are facing. We are anchoring ourselves on strong understanding of PM theory without loosing touch with practice. We focus on concrete situations and scenarios, analyze to an appropriate level of detail and leverage business relevant tools. With this approach, we hope to provide business value rather than content volume

 

  • Help each other to overcome tough situations and professional challenges through advice. Within our community, we will always have a member that has been in a similar situation in the past and is able to give insight on what he or she did in that situation and what he or she learned from it

 

  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing

What do we gain by spending our efforts in this direction? A more mature professional environment. Since Cluj is not such a big city, this will go a long way. What else? Leave a mark and influence some lives in a positive way. Anything else? Sure, further professional growth supported by the community. Is there more? Sure. However, this is an exercise of imagination - your imagination.

Purpose
ELIGIBILITY

To ensure we have the right level of skill among our mentors and mentees, we have agreed on the below mandatory conditions to join us as mentor or mentee. 

Mentors

  • 5+ yrs. of PM Experience

  • at least one of the following certifications:

    • PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner or above

    • PRINCE2 Agile

    • IPMA Level C or above

    • PMI-PMP or above

    • PMI-ACP

    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above

    • CMMI Professional or above

Mentees

  • a sincere desire to learn and grow
